Hi,

in reading recently I came across an article in Harpers by Breyten Breytenbach; which immediately struck me both for its competence in the use of English, as it painted a colourful picture, but also for its insight into the Africa I know and have watched with increasing horror, as the fashionable West adulated the terrorist Mandele, so close in aim all be it ameliorated by over 2 decades in prison relative to the horrors of Mugabe’s regime.

To try to put a value on Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our dreams, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives.
