Hi,
you will probably remember George Orwell’s iconic book ‘Animal Farm’ first published by Martin Secker of Secker & Warburg on 17-Aug-1945. IF you haven’t read it I heartily recommend it – it has been translated into 70 different languages and has sold millions of copies worldwide and has been continuously in print since 1945!
I strongly recommend George Orwell’s 9th. and final book published in his lifetime in June 1949 by Secker & Warburg titled ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’.
In the same vein, I suggest Aldous Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ published in 1932 & possibly watch the 1973 movie ‘Soylent Green’ predictive of 2022!
