Don’t be too harsh on yourself – At least unlike the islamists we haven’t killed over 270,000,000 people in the last 1,400 years seeking to impose our vile cult on them with its polygamous values, belief in child rape and marriage, absolute misogyny, murder and public execution of homosexuals and women who have been raped, slaughter for apostasy, castration of male slaves etc. etc.
Britain has made mistakes but the aim of the masses has always been to improve, defend and democratise – though I concede some failings over 2,000 years!
It was Britain that, never having had endemic slavery in Britain, despite British captives being some of the most valuable ‘on the block’ in Roman times and around 1,700,000 having been captured and enslaved for sale in North Africa – mainly by the muslim Barbary pirates & Traders.
It was Britain that banned slavery throughout the Empire and on the high seas in the early 1800s.
As for sex slaves, though it has been endemic in Africa and islamic countries never was it common practice in Britain or our colonies save at the instigation of islamism and some very alien regions like Rumania, Albania, Turkey etc.
Having been to around 70 Countries I would suggest some element of pride in having been, largely a force for good, trade, democratisation and justice Britain has been better than most.
Our standards seem to have taken a massive dive with the globalist greed of the likes of Blair, Mandelson, Straw, Prescott and the like and since the mud slide of the last election where few voted for Labour but many voted against globalism, Tory incompetence and the failure to defend our borders and our sovereignty – we have seen and allowed mass invasion and the willingness of our present marxist/socialist governance to all but open our borders to our enemies and beggar ourselves in their keep – all seemingly for islam to bribe Labour with cash and gratuities and ensure they were elected with the block postal votes controlled by mosques and imams funded by hostile governments in a new islamic crusade to create an extended caliphate across Britain, Scandinavia and EUrope!
I would contend we have only one way to save Britain, Civilisation and the West’s values. That is to insist that in Britain ONLY British Law, Justice and values pertain – That ONLY English will be funded in our institutions and should you not wish to uphold Britain it is over due for you to leave>
It is also essential that our Politicians are reminded, by force if need be, that they are the servants of the people and our Nation and such vile attempts to overthrow our governance as with tolerance of Pakistani rape gangs , sharia, blasphemy laws and the posthelatisation of alien cults like islam are unlawful as is marriage within a family, including cousins, children and polygamy are unlawful.
Also be minded that people may choose to be offended, that is their right but it is singularly secondary to the absolute right of free speech – Be minded there is no such thing as islamaphobia, it is a stupid made up word with no meaning and it is the absolute right under free speech to announce you have a hatred and contempt for islam, islamism, muslims and the quoran.
Just as it is the absolute right of anyone to denounce Western values, civilisation and a belief in the bible and British Law and they may leave with their families IMMEDIATELY.
